For those of you who enjoyed the heart warming story of Jim's visit to the kids he reads to ( Friday 6/12 Blog entry), here's a picture. He's the guy in the ugly hat.
Thanks ,Andy, for posting the picture. We had seen it earlier today but enjoyed seeing it again on the blog. Jim, you look good in the picture! Sure glad that Andy pointed out that you are the one in the hat! I know those kids were thrilled to see their Mr. Jim! Hope your day was uneventful and you had a good nap. Talked to Joe on the phone while you were napping and Barb was over at Kath's. Hope you had a nice visit, Barb. So much fun to hold a snuggly new baby. They always smell so good! Hope tonight is restful for both of you. Talk to you soon. Love and prayers, Jeanne, Frank and Alyssa
When children give love, they do it wholly and unconditionally. Few people ever experience the undiluted loving attention of so many children at once.
Even fewer are spiritually mature enough to sit still and receive such direct, honest, and pure attention without shying away from the intensity or retreating into self effacement and fears of inadequacy.
This picture and the story of love behind it should be Photo of the Year. The look of total presence and acceptance on Uncle Jim's face are pure magic, and prove what we've always known - Uncle Jim is one in a trillion.
Wow. Congratulations on receiving such healing and positive energy!
