Day 4 of Chemo

Jim continues to tolerate the chemotherapy, but the high doses of Prednisone (240 mg./day) make him nervous and interfere with his sleep. He's not quite bouncing off the walls yet but I did have to stop him from re-doing the taxes and from cutting down branches from the evergreen tree! Thanks for all the prayers, cards, meals and caring. Barbara

  1. Tell Jim to take the advice of the banner in your kitchen. Don't worry about useless things.Give people the opportunity to help out.

  4. Jim,

I'm ready for a little time away. May I come visit? I'm not much help, but I can take a nap & still drive a car,

    Love you all,

  5. Do I get the new long-distance record for sending love and support - greetings from California! Now I just have to keep Joel from logging on and posting - I think he has me by a few miles.

Mom just sent me a link, and I'm so grateful to know about this blog. Great idea, Uncle Andy - 1337 skillz. (Oh, go ahead, Google it. I'll wait.)

Rumor has it Andy is paying our taxes this year. Where do we send the forms?

    Big Love to all,
    Aaron, Ilona, and Jayden

  6. Jim,
It's Good Friday and you're finishing your first week of chemo! And now a break- YEAY! You are in our prayers every day. Can you see the children or do you have to stay pretty much isolated from the every day germs? Hope you'll have a tasts for some of the good food that's most likely at your house. Barb- we love both of you!
    God bless, Frank and Jeanne
