Everything's okay. Jim is trying to eat more to gain strength. We were shocked yesterday when he only weighed 179 lbs. He ordered his new eye glasses today and went to the endodontist to check on a tooth that has been bothering him. Blood numbers are good. All is well. Barbara
Dear Barbara and Jim,
ReplyDeleteYeah! Labs looking good and it's necessary to eat ice cream so you can gain some weight. Go for it! Hope the tooth is ok. Continue to enjoy your days at home. We love you two! We are having a busy month- May is always hectic! Lots of prayers coming your way.
God bless both of you,
Love,
Jeanne and Frank
Geez Jim start eating that gallon of ice cream you used to eat. Your left leg used to weigh 179.
ReplyDeleteJust a family update. Susan was down last night and did a wonderful presentation on her hospice work. Very well received. She wouldn't stay over as tomorrow's Johns BD. As always we continue to pray for you love...andy
Dear Barbara and Jim,
ReplyDeleteHave stopped in three missions and said prayers for you. Have seen a lot and off to Disneyland to celebrate Lynnette's birthday. Maggie and husband are coming for a visit on Saturday. Hope you keep doing well. Eat some ice cream for me.
Love,
Maureen
Hope all goes well with the chemo. The cortisone will give you an appetete and some energy. AS always you are in our prayers. God Bless and Love to you both Jeanie
ReplyDeleteHad some computer problems over the weekend and couldn't get online to check the blog so didn't know that Jim came home on Sat. I just had the "Geek Squad" here and I'm up and running. (Wish my geek son, Aaron or my geek brother, Andy lived closer - sorry, guys!) So on Monday I called Barbara's cell phone to check on how things were and lo and behold, Jim answered the phone. So good talking with you Jim and hearing your voice. You sounded tired though so rest up, eat more ice cream, and best of luck with round #3. Love and prayers, Joanne.
ReplyDeleteDearest Jim and Barbara, So wonderful to see you both last night and meet your lovely daughter. As cycle # 3 starts today, many prayers and good thoughts we send to you.
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Peggy & Michael
Aunt Barbara and Uncle Jim,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that things are good for now. Uncle Jim we are thinking of you everyday and saying lots of prayers for you. I hope that you are up to eating lots of ice cream soon.
Love,
Christie
